CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Grinnell College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to nationally-ranked Coe College Sunday.
 
Grinnell's No. 1 doubles team of Cole Miller '17-Tommy Pitcher '17 put up a good fight before losing 8-6, and the No. 3 team of Will Hamilton '17-Ben Cobin '20 nearly pulled out a victory before losing 9-8.
 
In singles, Sam Stickels '19 brought his foe at the No. 2 spot to three sets before losing.
 
Coe, ranked 36th nationally, is 16-4 overall while Grinnell fell to 10-9.
 
The Pioneers play at Ripon College on Saturday.
