LINCOLN, Neb. – Despite winning the shots battle, Grinnell College's men's soccer team lost a 1-0 decision at Nebraska Wesleyan University Saturday.
The Pioneers, who outshot the hosts 8-7, got four shots from
Carlos Piedrasanta '20 including three on goal.
Antonio DiMarco '18 added three shots and
Evan Sorenson '19 had one.
Jared Cloutier '20 worked a solid contest at keeper for Grinnell and made one save.
Grinnell, 1-5-1, entertains Buena Vista University Sunday at Springer Field. Action begins at 2 p.m.
Nebraska Wesleyan, which scored the lone goal of the contest in the 14th minute, improved to 4-3 with the win.
