LAKE BLUFF, Ill. – Grinnell College's men's tennis team shut out its second Midwest Conference foe in as many days Sunday, blanking Lake Forest College 9-0.

Grinnell, ranked 39th nationally and 10th in the Central Region, improved to 15-4 overall and 2-0 in the league. Lake Forest dipped to 7-8 overall and 2-1 in the MWC.

Of Grinnell's nine wins, a third were via shutout. Those came at the Nos. 4 and 5 singles spots with
Michael Conlin-Brandenburg '21 and
Jack Lunn '20, respectively, each posting 6-0, 6-0 victories. In doubles,
George Kaslow '21 and
Zach Lane '19 won 8-0 at the No. 3 spot.

Other singles winners were
Bowen Mince '22 at No. 1 (6-2, 6-1),
Sam Stickels '19 at No. 2 (6-3, 6-1),
Ben Cobin at No. 3 (6-2, 6-0) and Kaslow at No. 6 (6-1, 6-0). Rounding out the list of doubles winners were the duos of Mince and Cobin at No. 1 (8-2) and Stickels and Conlin-Brandenburg at No. 2 (8-3). Stickels now ranks 10th in program history for career doubles wins with 73.
