GRINNELL, Iowa – Six male senior students received special recognition at the 2021 Grinnell College Honor G Ceremony Thursday night in the Bear Center Field House.

Jasper Yang '21 and Mitch Sevier '21 won the Morgan Taylor '26 Award for outstanding athlete in a single sport. Yang, a soccer player, won it for a team sport and Sevier, a swimmer, for an individual sport.

Sam Naik '21 and Brad Geiman '21 won the David Theophilus '51 Award for outstanding athlete in more than one sport. Naik, a member of the soccer and golf squads, won it for a team sport and Geiman, who participates in track and field and basketball, for an individual sport.

Track and field and cross country athlete Carter Markegard '21 earned the Honor G Service Award, Yang claimed the Honor G Scholastic Award and Andrew Tucker '21 was presented the Coaches Award.
