GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Grinnell College men's soccer coach
Brian Jaworski nearly saw his Pioneer team knock off his regionally-ranked alma mater in a thrilling match Saturday afternoon.
DePauw University, ranked eighth in its region, was outshot 6-2 in the first half but came back in the second with a goal in the 68th minute to break a scoreless tie. That goal held up as DePauw (6-2) came away with a 1-0 victory.
Jasper Yang '22 had four of Grinnell's 10 shots in the contest, while
Dylan Maddux '25 had two shots and
Davis Provost '23,
Oliver Northing '25,
Nate Girard '23 and
Zak Serby '25 added one each.

Grinnell (3-3) concludes its Indiana trip Sunday with a contest at Wabash College.
