ST. PETER, Minn. - Leo Esztergomi '24 and Deuce Daniel '26 gave the top-seeded doubles team all it could handle before falling 8-6 in the quarterfinals of the ITA Midwest Regional Championship over the weekend.

The Grinnell College duo, seeded ninth in the doubles field, posted wins of 8-6 against a team from Luther College, 8-5 over a squad from Gustavus Adolphus College and 8-4 over a duo from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. That led to the epic battle with the top-seeded team from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Three Grinnell duos made it to the round of 32, those being Wilder Cooke '25-Karch Knoll '25, Jonah Gilmore '24-Luka Shaker-Check '25 and Sam Rudenberg '25-Aiden Klass '25.

In singles, both Esztergomi and Rudenberg made it to the round of 32.
