Updated 2022 GC Softball Record Book
GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's softball team enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in program history, hitting the 20-win mark for just the fourth time ever.

That success is also reflected in the team's record book, as the Pioneers broke or tied 15 school marks in 2022.

Individuals breaking school records were
Samantha Chu '24 (12 total bases in a game and 16 doubles in a season), as well as
Mary Webb '23 and
Amanda Ramirez '23 (each with 12 double plays turned in a season).

Grinnell broke four season records as a team in 2022 – at-bats (1,091), hit by pitch (27), sacrifice flies (12) and double plays turned (18).

Individuals tying school records included Chu with five hits and two homers in a game, Ramirez with three doubles and two triples (twice) in a game, Ramirez and
Lizzy Vermeulen '24 with three sacrifice flies in a season and
Kyra Killion '24 and
Jasmine Oda '24 with a 1.000 fielding percentage this season.
