Sabrina Tang punches ticket to NCAA D-III National singles tourney

GRINNELL, Iowa - Sabrina Tang '24 became the second Grinnell College women's tennis player selected for the NCAA Division III National Tournament when she was named to the singles field.

She was one of 32 players selected for the event, which will be May 27-29 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

Tang has tied the Grinnell school record for wins in a season with a 27-5 mark. She and her Pioneer teammates will play in the NCAA D-III Regional Team Tourney this weekend in Whitewater, Wis.

Tang, who won the ITA Midwest Region championship last fall, joins Laura Krull as the only Grinnell player to qualify for NCAA Tourney. Krull did so in 2013.
