GC men's tennis team wraps up strong season at NCAA D-III Regional Tournament

GRINNELL, Iowa - The multi-year defending Midwest Conference champion Grinnell College men's tennis team wrapped up yet another stellar season Friday.

 
Grinnell lost a 5-0 decision to Sewanee in the opening round of NCAA Division III Regional Tournament play at Washington University-St. Louis.
 
Though Grinnell fell behind 3-0 through doubles, all three matches were competitive. Jonah Gilmore '24 and Aiden Klass '25 battled to an 8-7 decision at No. 3, Bowen Mince '22 and Sam Rudenberg '25 lost 8-5 at No. 1 and Leo Esztergomi '24 and Karch Knoll '25 fell 8-4 at No. 2.
 
Sewane, 14-11 on the season, wrapped up the win with two singles victories.
 
Grinnell finishes up its campaign with a 14-12 mark.
