GRINNELL, Iowa – After a scoreless first half, Nebraska Wesleyan eked out a pair of goals in the second stanza to slip past Grinnell College 2-0 in men's soccer action Saturday at Springer Field.
Nebraska Wesleyan (2-4-1) got its goals in the 47
th and 77
th minutes of the physical contest.
Grinnell (2-4) battled the Prairie Wolves to nearly even terms in the shots department, taking 17 compared to 19 for the visitors.
Noah Guyton '23 fired off eight of those shots, including two on goal, while
Jaxon Willoughby '26 had two shots. Several others added one apiece.

Carter Benson '24 made four saves in net for Grinnell.
The Pioneers will attempt to get back in the win column Sunday with a noon contest at Buena Vista University.
