Pioneer men's swimming team completes successful weekend at Luther

DECORAH, Iowa - Ten different swimmers enjoyed victories Saturday afternoon while leading the Grinnell College men's swimming and diving team to a 175-110 dual victory over Luther College.

Ethan Yuen '24 was a quadruple winner for Grinnell, including individual victories in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.28 seconds) and 100 butterfly (50.59).

Yuen also swam on the first-place 200 medley and freestyle relay teams that had times of 1:37.22 and 1:28.34, respectively. Adam Feilmeyer '25, Harvey Wilhelm '24 and Rommin Adl '26 completed the medley squad while Feilmeyer, Adl and Theo Mott '24 were on the freestyle team.

Benke Grobler '27 won the 200 backstroke and 200 individual medley in 2:03.01 and 2:00.94. Other champs were Kevin Fitzgerald '25 in the 1000 freestyle (10:15.77), Noah Tsukuda '27 in the 200 freestyle (1:47.82), Mott in the 200 butterfly (2:04.03) and Antoni Staszkiewicz '27 in the 500 freestyle (4:53.41).

Runners-up for Grinnell were Staszkiewicz in the 200 freestyle (1:48.54), Feilmeyer in the 100 backstroke (54.37), Kade Dolphin '24 in the 50 freestyle (22.71), Toby Frick '24 in 3-meter diving (182.00) and 1-meter diving (196.40), Adl in the 100 freestyle (48.67), Fitzgerald in the 500 freestyle (5:05.03) and 200 individual medley (2:05.80) and Mott in the 100 butterfly (53.82)

Grinnell is at the Monmouth Fighting Scot Invite next Saturday.
