Grinnell men dominate mini-invite in preparation for MWC Championships

GRINNELL, Iowa - Fifteen Grinnell College men's swimmers and divers claimed victories Saturday afternoon at the team's mini-invite at Russell K. Osgood Pool.

Rommin Adl '26 was a three-time champ, winning the 50-yard freestyle in 22.06 and swimming legs on the first-place 200 medley (1:35.98) and 200 freestyle (1:26.91) relays.

Harvey Wilhelm '24, Josh Sutton '24 and Theo Mott '24 completed the medley squad, while rounding out the freestyle squad were Kevin Fitzgerald '25, Kade Dolphin '24 and Connor Smith '25.

Ethan Yuen '24 won the 200 breaststroke in 2:11.48, the 14th-best time in program history.

Other champs were Sutton in the 100 freestyle (48.64), Samora Lumonya '27 in the 200 freestyle (2:02.39), Benke Grobler '27 in the 100 backstroke (55.46), Toby Frick '24 in 1-meter diving (209.85) and 3-meter diving (201.30), Noah Siegmeier '24 in the 200 backstroke (2:04.69), Antoni Staszkiewicz '27 in the 500 freestyle (4:51.90), Noah Tsukuda '27 in the 200 individual medley (2:04.14) and Sam Larsen '25 in the 50 backstroke (25.17).

The Pioneers host the Midwest Conference Championships in two weeks.
