GRINNELL, Iowa - The number 13 turned out to be lucky for the home team at the Grinnell Invite swimming and diving meet Saturday.

The Grinnell College men's squad won its 13th Invite title in a row, dating back to 2012. The Pioneers won six event titles Saturday at Russell K. Osgood Pool, including three meet-record performances. That gave Grinnell eight meet records for the weekend.

The Pioneers piled up 1245.5 points to easily win the team crown. Augustana College was a distant second with 994.5 points.

Kevin Fitzgerald '25 and Evan Feilmeyer '28 were each in on two meet records Saturday. Fitzgerald set one in the 400-yard individual medley in 4 minute, 3.63 seconds to easily beat the mark of 4:06.07 he set last year. Feilmeyer's individual record came in the 200 freestyle, where he won in 1:39.78 to just miss an NCAA "B" cut. Feilmeyer, who moved up to second all-time at Grinnell in the event, eclipsed the meet record of 1:40.72 established by Tyler Leslie of Augustana in Saturday's prelims.

Grinnell's other meet record came in the 400 freestyle relay, where Feilmeyer, Rommin Adl '26, Aidan Donovan '28 and Fitzgerald won in 3:04.47. That time, which ranks third in GC history, destroyed the previous meet record of 3:07.04 set by Augustana in 2023.

Grinnell also won the 200 medley relay as Adl, Chris Zhou '27, Feilmeyer and Fitzgerald swam 1:32.68. That time ranks sixth in program history. Other Pioneer wins came from Feilmeyer in the 100 butterfly (50.84) and Cadel Saszik '28 in the 200 backstroke (1:52.17).

Grinnell runners-up were Hayden Devorsetz '28 in 1-meter diving (348.60 points), Noah Tsukuda '27 in the 1650 freestyle (16:34.56), Fitzgerald in the 200 backstroke (1:52.29) and Donovan in the 50 freestyle (21.13). Third place went to Antoni Staszkiewicz '27 in the 400 individual medley (4:09.39), Keely Yeager '27 in the 100 breaststroke (58.31), Sam Larsen '25 in the 200 backstroke (1:53.34) and Adl in the 50 freestyle (21.31).

Tsukuda and Zhou were fourth in the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke in 1:42.98 and 58.75, respectively. Adam Feilmeyer '25 added a fifth-place finish in the 50 freestyle in 21.41.
