GRINNELL, Iowa - Kevin Fitzgerald '25, and the Grinnell College men's swimming and diving team as a whole, continue to dominate the Midwest Conference Championships at Russell K. Osgood Pool.

The Pioneers collected five event victories Saturday, including an NCAA "B" cut and multiple broken records by Fitzgerald in the 400-yard individual medley. He won the race in 3 minutes, 54.44 seconds to eclipse the "B" cut by more than 4 seconds while also beating the time selected for last year's NCAA Championships by nearly 2 seconds.

He beat his own school, conference and pool records of 3:56.85, set earlier this year, and the MWC Championships mark of 3:57.43 set in 2015 by Sam Freedberg of Lake Forest College. Fitzgerald now has 20 MWC victories in his career.

Grinnell also won the 200 medley relay with Rommin Adl '26, Keely Yeager '27, Evan Feilmeyer '28 and Aidan Donovan '28. Their time of 1:31.31 is second all-time at Grinnell.
