GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four members of the Grinnell College men's swimming and diving team will cap off a stellar 2024-25 campaign this week at the NCAA Division III Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
The event, slated for Wednesday through Saturday, will be at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The Pioneers are sending their largest contingent to nationals since 1991 and will be represented every day in a total of seven events.
Competing Wednesday will be
Kevin Fitzgerald '25 in the 200-yard individual medley relay and Fitzgerald,
Rommin Adl '26,
Evan Feilmeyer '28 and
Aidan Donovan '28 in the 400 medley relay. Fitzgerald is seeded 18
th in his event and the relay team is 27
th. Those same four will swim every Grinnell relay at nationals.
Thursday's action will have Fitzgerald in the 400 IM, where he's seeded 15
th, and the 23
rd-seeded 200 freestyle relay team. Grinnell's busiest day will be Friday, starting with the 200 medley relay in which the Pioneers are ranked 25
th. Feilmeyer is ranked 21
st in the 200 butterfly and the 800 free relay team is 22
nd.
Action concludes Saturday with Adl and Fitzgerald in the 100 freestyle and the 400 free relay. Adl is seeded 39
th and Fitzgerald 46
th, while the relay team is 15
th.
