Grinnell women bounce back from loss to dispose of DePauw via shutout

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Grinnell College's women's tennis team bounced back from a loss to 16th-ranked Case Western Reserve by earning a 7-0 shutout victory at DePauw University Sunday afternoon.

The 26th-ranked Pioneers, who improved to 11-2, opened the match with doubles victories by the duos of Erin Jarvis '25-Isa Voinescu '26 (6-0), Lily Perrin '25-Keira Healy '28 (6-2) and Pari Chavan '27-Nichole Henning '26 (6-4).

Grinnell finished that with a singles sweep by Chavan (6-1, 6-0), Jarvis (6-3, 6-2), Perrin (5-7, 6-2, 1-0), Utsah Kalra '25 (6-1, 6-3), Anika Sheth '26 (6-3, 6-3) and Nehir Ergun '26 (6-3, 6-3).

Earlier in the day, Case Western beat the Pioneers by a 7-0 score.

During the day's action, Perrin improved upon her school-record doubles victories total with her 74th, while Jarvis is ranked ninth all-time with 60. In singles play, Kalra is 10th all-time with 58 wins and Perrin is 12th with 51.
