Pioneer men's swimming and diving team sails past Macalester

Results

ST. PAUL, Minn. - With the aid of a dozen event victories, Grinnell College's men's swimming and diving team had little issue disposing of Macalester College in a dual meet Saturday.

The Pioneers, who posted a 176-99 decision, won both relays with Rommin Adl '26, Chris Zhou '27, Spencer Pfaff '29 and Aidan Donovan '28 in the 200-yard medley (1 minute, 34.49 seconds) and Evan Ingraham '29, Pfaff, Evan Feilmeyer '28 and Donovan in the 400 freestyle (3:10.48).

Individual champs were Noah Tsukuda '27 in the 500 and 1000 freestyles (4:56.74 and 10:33.07, respectively), Ingraham in the 200 freestyle (1:49.41) and 200 backstroke (1:56.77), Adl in the 100 backstroke (52.61), Zhou in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.31), Feilmeyer in the 200 butterfly (1:58.88), Donovan in the 50 and 100 freestyles (21.33 and 47.24) and Pfaff in the 100 butterfly (51.67).

Runners-up for Grinnell were Keely Yeager '27 in the 200 freestyle (1:52.27), Daniel Yoo '29 in the 200 butterfly (2:11.91), Pfaff in the 50 freestyle (21.56), Adl in the 100 freestyle (47.71), Jack Cerone '28 in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.36), Antoni Staszkiewicz '27 in the 500 freestyle (5:03.25) and Ingraham in the 100 butterfly (52.49).

Grinnell is at St. Ambrose University next Saturday.
