Lucas Willett named MWC Men's Tennis Performer of the Week for 2nd time this season

GRINNELL, Iowa - For the second time this season, Grinnell College's Lucas Willett '26 has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Tennis Performer of the Week.

Willett, from Deerfield, Ill. (Deerfield), posted a sweep at the top singles and doubles flights as the 38th-ranked Pioneers rolled over No. 23 Christopher Newport University by a 5-2 score Sunday. Willett won 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 at No. 1 singles and teamed with Albert Bostoen '26 for a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Willett now has 118 career victories, which is 16th-best in program history.
