MADISON, Wis. – Grinnell College's men's tennis team is set for a big weekend at the Midwest Conference Team and Individual Championships at the Nielsen Tennis Center.

Grinnell, ranked 19
th nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), is the top seed after claiming the MWC regular-season crown last weekend. The Pioneers meet fourth-seeded Illinois College at 10 a.m. Friday.

With a victory, the Pioneers will face either second-seeded Lake Forest College or third-seeded Cornell College in the afternoon to determine the MWC Tourney champ and NCAA Division III Tournament qualifier.

Grinnell is 17-5 and has won 202 consecutive matches against league foes, dating back to the 2002-03 season. Grinnell has won the MWC Team Tourney 21 consecutive years and 22 times overall, and has made the NCAA D-III Tourney in 18 consecutive attempts.

Action will then shift to the MWC Individual Tourney, with singles quarterfinals and semifinals set for Saturday along with doubles quarterfinals. Things wrap up Sunday with singles finals and doubles semifinals and finals.

Grinnell also has top-seeded players in Nos. 2 through 5 singles with Gutbezahl,

Aman Kothari '28 and Bostoen. Willett is seeded second at No. 1 singles as is
Anshul Satav '27 at No. 6 singles.

Willett owns six MWC individual titles in his career, while Bostoen is a two-time champ and Satav a one-time winner.
