Grinnell women's soccer team falls just shy against Simpson

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Grinnell College women's soccer team fell just short Friday night at Simpson College, dropping a 1-0 decision on the road.

The Pioneers nearly escaped with a draw, but the Storm scored with just nine minutes left to claim victory.

Grayson Allison '28 played a stellar contest at keeper for Grinnell, posting 10 saves. The 0-2 Pioneers managed two shots, those coming from Maya Mozena '28 and Rylee Howard '30. Simpson improved to 1-0-1 with the win.

The Pioneers return to the home pitch Sunday, entertaining Saint Mary's University of Minnesota at 11 a.m.
