Gunn High School, where he was a two-year starter in football and a unanimous SCVAL All-League kicker … also played baseball where he was the Palo Alto Weekly Athlete of the Week while serving as captain for two years and earned three letters ... led the league in home runs in 2012 and was a first-team All-League performer … was also first-team All-League in 2011 and honorable mention in 2010.
