Attended Libertyville High School where he participated in baseball and basketball … was All State, All Area, All Conference in baseball … won the Conference Sportsmanship Award … was team co-captain and MVP … For basketball, was an All Conference Honorable Mention, a three point contest sectional finalist, and team co-captain … aside from athletics made the honor roll every year … Sports Editor of the school newspaper … an AP Scholar, State Scholar, and Academic All Conference.
