Background:
Born in Chicago, Illinois. The son of Crystal and Larry Riley. Has one sibling, Quinn Riley. 

High School:
Graduated from Whitney M Young Magnet High School in 2015. Participated in Football and Lacrosse. Was a 3-year starter on the varsity offensive line, 2014 Chicago Big Shoulders Conference Champions, team captain as a senior. Was also a 1 year starter on lacrosse team and won 3 straight city championships 2013-2015. 

College:
2017: Academic All-Conference.
