Graduated from Antioch Community High School, where he participated in baseball, basketball and football … in baseball team was regional and sectional champs and he was named first-team All-Area Lake County and first-team All-Conference … in basketball, team was regional champs and he was honorable mention All-Area Lake County, third-team All-Conference and team captain … aside from athletics, was an Illinois State Scholar and member of the National Honor Society and Academic All-Conference Team.
