Phil Culham starts his seventh season as the volunteer infielders coach.
He has coached various sports throughout his career, including the eighth-grade basketball team in Grinnell. He served as high school freshman boys basketball coach for Logansport (Ind.) High School in 2011, before moving back to Iowa. Culham played high school varsity for four years and was a two-time first-team all-conference, first-team all-district player, and honorable mention all-state.
He played collegiate baseball at North Central University in Minnesota and was named Division II Hank Burbridge Unlimited Potential Awardwinner at the National Christian College Athletic Association in 2007. He also was named to the 2007 Division II NCCAA all-tournament team.
Culham is the Campus Pastor at Prairie Lakes Church Grinnell. He, his wife Jen, and two daughters Ali and Brynn live in Grinnell. They have a dog, Millie. Culham is a big Ohio State Buckeye fan and loves to play golf
