Graduated from Westside High School and played baseball and football … was 2023 Collin-Orcutt All-Star Team selection, 2023 All-State and All-Class honorable mention, 2023 PG Preseason All-America honorable mention and 2022 PG Preseason All-America honorable mention … pitched 206 innings with a 19-12 record, two saves, 2.24 ERA and 186 strikeouts … aside from athletics, was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society, won Scholar-Athlete and Spirit Award twice and was four-time member of the Honor Roll.
