Graduated from Sycamore High School where he participated in baseball and basketball ...for baseball, was First Team All-Area, First Team All-Conference, 2012 Daily Chronicle Baseball Player of the Year, team MVP, and a USSSA All-American ... aside from athletics, was a Commended National Merit Scholar and on the Honor Roll all four years.
