Biography

Background:
Born in Illinois to Tim and Denise, and has one sibling, Ryan. He graduated from Warren Township High School in 2016. 

High School:
Sam was named to the High Honor Roll, and also particiapted in Baseball, Football and Basketball. He was named to the All-Conference and All-Region Baseball teams his senior season, while also being named to Academic All-Conference lists his junior and senior season. His senior year he pitched 54.0 innings, had a 2.07 ERA, 56 Ks, 7 walks, and a 1.00 WHIP. 

College:
2017: Midwest Conference South Division Newcomer of the Year and All-MWC South Division First Team.
