Born in Muscatine, Iowa … son of Ted Bucklin and Sunita Verma … has three siblings, Pooja Bucklin, Asha Bucklin and Meera Bucklin.
 
High School:
Graduated from Henry M. Gunn High School, where he participated in baseball … was a four-year varsity athlete, first-team All-League in 2017 and 2018 and 2018 Offensive Player of the Year as well as team captain… aside from athletics, was an Eagle Scout.

College:
2021: Academic All-Conference.
2020: Academic All-Conference.
