Tight Ends/Kickers and Punters
Nate Smith joined the Pioneer football coaching staff in 2010 as a volunteer. He also has served as a volunteer assistant baseball coach since 2011.
In 2006-07, Smith was an assistant basketball coach at Maranatha Baptist Bible College. He also coached football, basketball and baseball at Silver State Christian School.
He graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 2005 with a degree in Biblical Studies before gaining a master’s in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Graduate School. He is a custodial supervisor at Grinnell.
He and his wife Karie have six daughters: Taylar, Aubree, Kylie, Makenna, Shiloh and Della.
