Jeff Smith  joined the Grinnell College men’s basketball staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the 2023-24 season.
 
Smith is a Grinnell native. After graduating from Grinnell High School, Smith attended and played basketball at Colorado College while earning a Political Science degree. 
 
Smith and his wife, Ana, have a son, Charlie.
