Grinnell College's Alex Neckopulos '17 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Basketball Performer of the Week.

Neckopulos, a 5-9 forward from Crystal Lake, Ill. (Prairie Ridge), got her 2015-16 campaign off to a stellar start, posting a double-double in the Pioneers' 68-64 victory over Silver Lake College.

Neckopulos, who last season broke the Pioneer record for boards in a game, grabbed 17 on Sunday to go along with 21 points.
