Grinnell College’s Vidushi Sinha ’19 has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Sinha, from Gurgaon, Haryana, India (Shri Ram School), easily won medalist honors while leading the Pioneers to a new school-record score in a dual meet with William Penn University on Saturday.
 
Sinha shot a 1-under-par 71, one stroke shy of the Grinnell record, as the Pioneers finished with a score of 314. That figure beats the previous Pioneer best of 315 set last spring. Sinha finished nine shots ahead of the runner-up while leading the Pioneers to victory.
