David Ternes ’15, a linebacker from Oakley, Calif. (Freedom), had a huge defensive effort for the Grinnell Pioneer football team in a recent contest with Lake Forest College. Ternes recorded a game-high 14 tackles, including six solos, as well as a sack. Two of his tackles were for loss.

He is Grinnell’s tackles leader through three games with 35.
