Grinnell College's Charles Carr '19 has been named the first Midwest Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the 2017 season.

Carr, from Pacific Palisades, Calif. (Palisades Charter), pitched six scoreless innings and issued just three hits as the Pioneers defeated Lawrence University 5-4. He struck out four batters and only gave up one walk.
