Mikyla Murphy ’19, a designated player/first baseman from St. Joseph, Mo. (Benton), hit .409 in six games last week, going 9-of-22 at the plate with four doubles, nine RBIs and a run scored. Murphy, who entered the week hitting just .206, had a .592 slugging percentage while improving her batting average for the season by 80 points.
