Grinnell College’s Cody Weber ’13 was recently named the Midwest Conference Football Offensive Performer of the Week and earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Weber, a 6-0, 195-pound wide receiver from Pullman, Wash. (Pullman), had an astounding 15 catches and scored two touchdowns as the Pioneers posted a convincing 21-7 victory over MWC preseason favorite Monmouth College on Saturday.
One of his touchdown catches from Sam Poulos '16 was named the D3football.com Play of the Week.
He finished with a game-high 165 receiving yards and, as of last week, ranked fifth nationally in receptions per game and 12th in receiving yards a contest.
