Sam LaMotte '20 had an impressive baseball campaign while earning Midwest Conference South Division Newcomer of the Year honors.

He was named to the All-MWC first team while serving as his team’s pitching ace, going 4-2 with a 2.59 ERA and 30 strikeouts.

His innings pitched total ranks among Grinnell’s top 10 for a season as he led the team to a 20-win campaign.
