McKynley Larson ’21, from Topeka, Kan. (Seamon), had a dominating performance at Grinnell’s own Pioneer Classic, capturing five titles in the 11-team meet.

She all but owned the freestyle events, swimming to wins in the 200-yard, 500 and 1650 in times of 2:02.31, 5:22.69 and 18:49.19, respectively. She was also on the winning 800 freestyle relay team that had a time of 8:16.69 and won the 200 backstroke in 2:13.19.

Larson also was on the runner-up 400 medley relay team that finished in 4:14.24.
