Grinnell College’s Sriram Sugumaran ’21 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Tennis Performer of the Week.

Sugumaran, from Bettendorf, Iowa (Pleasant Valley), was a double winner at the top spot in a 9-0 dual shutout win over Macalester College Sunday. He pulled out a 7-6, 4-6, 12-10 win at No. 1 singles and teamed with Ben Cobin ’20 to earn an 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles.

Grinnell is now 4-2 on the season.
