Grinnell College Athletics

Ishaan Tibrewal ’21, from Kolkata, India (Saint Xaviers Collegiate School), was a perfect 4-for-4 as Grinnell concluded MWC play with an 8-0 mark, running the Pioneers’ winning streak against MWC foes to 143 consecutive matches and 89 in a row in league play. He won 6-0, 6-0 against his Illinois College opponent and 7-5, 6-1 against Monmouth College. In doubles with Zach Lane, the duo posted 8-1 victories over their opponents. Tibrewal is now 21-2 in singles play this season and 17-4 in doubles with Lane as Grinnell improved to 20-4 as a team.
