Nikki Schlegel '22 was named Outstanding Newcomer representing a Women's Championship, at the 2019 Midwest Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. Schlegel was a perfect 7-of-7 for the meet, winning three individual titles and four relays. Her individual wins were in the 200-yard individual medley, 400 individual medley and 200 backstroke. She also guided the 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay and 800 freestyle relay teams to victory.
