Zach Willis ’22, from Olympia, Wash. (Capital): Willis had a stellar performance at the Grand View Viking Classic, having a hand in both Pioneer wins. He cruised to victory in the 800-meter run, beating 24 other runners with a time of 1:56.19. That clocking is tops in the MWC this season by nearly a second and just missed the program’s all-time top 10. Willis also helped the 4x400 relay team to victory in 3:26.03, beating six other teams in the process.
