GRINNELL, Iowa - For the second week in a row, a Grinnell College athlete has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Women's Golf Performer of the Week.
This week's honoree is Julia Echikson '20, from Uccle, Belgium (European School III). On back to back days, Echikson recorded career-best scores at the Wartburg College Fall Invite. She fired a 77 on the opening day, beating her previous best by two strokes.
Echikson followed that up with a 75 on the final day of the tourney, giving her a combined score of 152 and 17th-place finish in the 107-golfer field.
