Grinnell College's Albert Ford '20 has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
It was a clean sweep for the Pioneers, as Nikki Schlegel '22 claimed the MWC honor on the women's side.
Ford, from Palo Alto, Calif. (Palo Alto), earned a pair of victories as the Pioneers raced past Loras College 155-59 Saturday. He claimed wins in his two individual events, the 50- and 500-yard freestyles, in times of 22.10 and 5:01.00, respectively. His clocking in the 50 ranks 20th in program history. Additionally, Ford swam on the runner-up 200 freestyle relay team that clocked in at 1:32.90.
