Grinnell College Athletics

Grinnell College’s Sarina Kopf ’22 shattered a 14-year-old school record Saturday, and has been rewarded for that by being named a Midwest Conference Women’s Track and Field Performer of the Week.
 
Kopf, from Golden, Colo. (Lakewood), broke Grinnell’s school record in the pole vault at the Darren Young Classic. She went 11-4 ¼ in the event to beat the previous Pioneer mark of 11-2 established by Anna Gilbert in 2006. Kopf is ranked 33rd nationally.
