One week after earning a Midwest Conference Women’s Track and Field Performer of the Week honor, Grinnell College’s Sarina Kopf ’22 enjoyed a repeat performance this week.
Kopf, from Golden, Colo. (Lakewood), was named winner of the award for field events after a stellar performance at Saturday’s Wartburg College Liz Wuertz Invitational. Kopf won the pole vault with a leap of 11-7 ¼, beating her previous school record of 11-4 ¼ established a week ago. Her latest effort not only leads the MWC, but ranks 26th nationally.
