Grinnell College Athletics

For the third time this season, a Grinnell College player has been named Midwest Conference Women's Tennis Performer of the Week.
 
Sophia de los Reyes '23, from Hawthorn Woods, Ill. (Lake Zurich), is the latest recipient after playing a key role in Grinnell claiming its 17th MWC title this weekend, and 14th in the last 18 years. She went a combined 5-0, claiming 6-0, 6-0 singles wins against Monmouth College and Illinois College and a 6-0, 6-4 decision against Lake Forest College.
 
She also teamed with Mira Manchanda '24 to post 8-0 doubles wins in both the Monmouth and Lake Forest matches. For the season, de los Reyes is 5-1 in singles play and 8-2 in doubles.
