GRINNELL, Iowa - A day after being named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week, Grinnell College's Adam Phillips was honored on the national stage.

Phillips, a guard from Ridgeway, Wis. (Dodgeville), was named to the prestigious D3hoops.com National Team of the Week following a historic performance Saturday. He had spot-on aim while erupting for 41 points in a 127-75 win over Monmouth College Saturday. Phillips was 13-of-17 from 3-point range, with the 76.5 percent success ranking being best in program history for a player with 14 trey attempts or more.

The 13 made 3-pointers are second-best this season in NCAA Division III and 41 points are tops in the league.
