Amanda Ramirez ’23, a shortstop from Monterey Park, Calif. (Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy), swung a hot bat, hitting .643 over four games. She was 9-of-14 at the plate with four triples and seven RBIs. At shortstop, Ramirez had a .941 fielding percentage with just one error in 16 attempts. Ramirez tripled twice in a game against Monmouth College Saturday and twice in another against Knox College Sunday to tie a school record each time. She is just one shy of the Pioneers’ season mark for three-baggers.
